Frequently asked questions
What you should know before setting an alert and, most importantly, before trying to book.
Does MagicalTables book a table for me?
No. We detect matching openings and tell you about them so that you can complete the booking through the official Disneyland Paris channel. Creating an alert or receiving a message never holds a table; it is reserved only when Disney confirms the booking.
Why did an alert arrive when the table is already gone?
Openings can disappear very quickly, especially for popular restaurants and dates. Someone may book the table between our check, delivery of your alert and your visit to Disney. Open the link straight away, check the date, party size and meal, and start a fresh booking flow rather than relying on an old results page.
What is the fastest way to receive alerts?
Plans 1 and 2 do not add the Free plan's 60-minute delay. Plan 2 also lets you enable SMS alongside email, which can be easier to notice on your phone. Actual delivery still depends on the mobile network and email provider, so enable phone notifications and act promptly.
How often is availability checked?
Every minute, we check whether your alerts find tables matching your choices. If a suitable time appears, we notify you according to your plan. The table may no longer be available by the time you book.
What can I select in an alert?
Choose a restaurant, day, party size, meal and start and end times. Use the party size you will really book for; larger tables may be harder to find. If you are flexible, create additional alerts for other dates or times within your plan's limit.
What if I do not receive any alerts?
Check that the alert is active, your email is verified and the date is still in the future. Also check spam and your contact details. There may simply be no opening that meets every condition yet; widening the time range or considering another date can improve your chances without guaranteeing a result.
Can I edit, pause or cancel an alert?
Yes. Your account lets you review alerts, change supported criteria, pause, resume or cancel them. Once you have a booking, cancel any alert you no longer need to avoid unnecessary messages and free a slot within your plan.
Do I have to share my Disney password?
You do not need to give us your Disney credentials to create an alert. MagicalTables checks availability using its own infrastructure. When an alert arrives, you book through Disney's official channel and use your own Disney account there if the process asks for it.
When do new tables become available?
There is no fixed time that applies to every restaurant and date. Openings can appear when Disney releases new capacity or another guest cancels, and they may disappear quickly. Keep your alert active and be ready to book before the message arrives.
How much does it cost?
You can start with one free email alert, which has a 60-minute notification delay. Paid plans allow more alerts and remove that added wait; Plan 2 also supports SMS. Check the plans section for current prices and conditions before choosing.
Is MagicalTables part of Disney?
No. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Disneyland Paris or The Walt Disney Company. Availability, booking eligibility and final confirmation always depend on Disney.
